This was my second time in this particular hotel and both visits have been great. The room is large and has more than enough storage space for items. The bed is comfortable and the mattress was not too hard or soft. Having a number of plug sockets in the room was also helpful for using my electronic devices and especially the plug next to the bed for charging my phone. The bathroom was small but more than enough for what I needed, coming with a shower which had nice hot water and a large basin. Everything was very clean and tidy when I arrived. I also appreciated having an outdoor space.

The place was very clean and the proprietor was friendly. The balcony in my room faced onto the back of a huge sign but they did move me to a different room. The room was fine but the peeling wallpaper, the hole in the ceiling and the difficulty in getting plugs into outlets was not good. It took a while to find because it is not where google maps say it is.

The property was in a less touristy area than expected, so that was very enjoyable. The room was very large and clean. There were many good and cheap restaurants nearby and the bus stop was right at the door. The manager, Tin Tin, was very helpful and friendly and also runs a travel agency, very convenient for booking various trips.

Strono

Small hotel, close to Chalong Pier, with a view on Big Buddha statue. Room was clean and comfortable. No bar / no restaurant (but there are a lot of options around ). .
